The JPGA Begins Second Season with New Director of Instruction

Keith Bach, Owner of the Junior Players Golf Academy announces the new Director of Instruction, Brian Moore formerly an Instructor from the world famous Jim McLean Golf Schools at the Doral Resort in Miami, Florida. Brian brings to the JPGA many years of experience as a professional instructor and accomplished tournament player – he had a full time professional playing career in the early and middle 1990s.

Brian has studied and/or worked with several top instructors such as Jim Flick, Christopher Toulson, Bobby Cole, Dr. Jim Suttie, Jimmy Ballard, Jim Mclean, and several David Leadbetter instructors. His teaching philosophies and beliefs are a culmination of all he has learned and experienced under these teaching greats as well as from extensive golf research that he has done on his own. It is this vast source of knowledge that provides him the experience to formulate a game improvement plan for each individual student based on their personal skill level and goals. He was elected into the PGA of America in 2003.

In August, the JPGA begins its second season of full-time students on Hilton Head Island. The JPGA is an elite academy training young people to be competitive and professional golfers. Students have enrolled in the JPGA from as far away as California and from The Netherlands, Germany and the UK. It is a great opportunity for students to train for competition and also live with other young people from around the world. “It is truly an international experience right here on Hilton Head Island,” says Keith Bach, JPGA Owner.

JPGA students compete at the FCWT Junior Golf Tour throughout the year. The FCWT provides a venue of over 70 nationally-ranked junior golf tournaments. The JPGA is sponsored by Wilson Staff and provides a full equipment line for its students.

Keith Bach has been teaching on Hilton Head Island for almost 20 years and has run the Junior Players Golf Academy on the Island for eight years. He recently expanded the program to include full-time students, both academic students and post-graduate players.
