“More than just another golf camp, only those who want to really improve should attend”
Purtzer Golf Academy presents a very special Junior Golf Development Camp. It has one purpose-to prepare you to be more than just another good player-It is about excelling in competition.
Program Instructors are led by Paul Purtzer and Don Powers, both former junior champions and Collegiate All-Americans at Arizona State University who competed on the PGA Tour and on international professional tours. Their achievements and ability to play at such a high level provides students an opportunity to learn what the average instructors cannot teach.
Instruction features the fundamentals taught to present and past students such as Tom Purtzer, multiple winner on the Champions Tour and PGA Tour, Lorena Ochoa, LPGA star, winner of a NCAA record- 8 straight collegiate tournaments, and former NCAA Player of the Year, Steve Jones, former US Open Champion, Jim Carter, former NCAA Champion, Arizona State U., Mikaela Parmlid, Women’s NCAA Champion and Player of the Year at USC, Jeff Berkshire, former #1 Junior Boy Player (AZ) and AZ State Amateur Champion, and many other champions of junior golf, state, national and international competitions.
