Putting – To keep your wrists quiet during your putting stroke, choke slightly down on your putter and place a golf ball between your right forearm and the grip end of the putter.
Keep the ball there while you make your stroke at the ball you are putting. this will give you the feeling of making your stroke with your arms and shoulders and not with your hands.
Putt five or six balls this way on the practice putting green and then try five or six more balls without the reminder ball. This should help you to develop a smooth and consistent putting stroke.
