LPGA golf instructor named to prestigious list of TOP 100 TEACHERS IN AMERICA

AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. (January 26, 2007) Anne Cain, owner and founder of the Anne Cain Golf Academy, has been named as one of the Top 100 Teachers in America by GOLF MAGAZINE. As a member of this prestigious list, Cain is one of only 10 women and one of the youngest candidates ever chosen.

As a nominee, Cain submitted extensive information about her teaching career to a committee of GOLF MAGAZINE editors and sports experts. Of the fifteen new instructors added to the 2007-2008 list, Cain is the only female and the youngest instructor. The new selections will be featured in the March issue of GOLF MAGAZINE, due on stands in early February. Cain will periodically be featured in the magazine by writing instruction tips and articles.

Cain’s professional accomplishments are impressive. She was named by GOLF MAGAZINE as one of the Top Instructors by Region for Florida in 2004. Cain also was nominated three times by her peers for the Ladies Professional Golf Association’s Teacher of the Year Award and named as a “Favorite Instructor” in Golf for Women magazine. Cain achieved LPGA Class A status in 2000, and she was the first LPGA instructor to become an authorized instructor of Homer Kelley’s The Golfing Machine, a book that educates instructors to use geometry and physics as the foundation of golf instruction.

The Anne Cain Golf Academy is located at The Golf Club of Amelia Island, adjacent to The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. The combination of an experienced instructor, the latest Hot Lines™ video technology and an all-weather practice facility makes for an enhanced learning experience.
