The Champions Golf Academy, located at the Long Bay Club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina provides  instruction and training in all aspects of golf to touring professionals, post-graduate (gap year) students, and amateurs of all ages.

This instruction is led by former PGA Tour player Hugh Royer, III, and his handpicked instruction team, utilizing the most advanced training tools available, at an exceptional world-class facility.

The Champions Golf Academy’s Learning Center is a 3,000-plus-square-foot complex featuring a driving range with three private teaching bays, a short game area, long game area, lounge area, club repair, and fitness facility.  Each teaching bay is equipped with the V-1 Digital Coaching System, the latest in swing analysis technology. This software captures, compares, and analyzes swings, and saves to a database. Video can easily be written to CD/DVD for the player to review following instruction, and allows the player to e-mail swings to the coach, and vice versa.

Renowned sports psychologist Stephen A. Russo, Ph.D, physical trainers and nutritionists are all a part of the staff and will work specifically with budding professionals to enhance students experience at The Champions Golf Academy at Long Bay Club.
