SDGA is a two year golf career college accredited by ACICS, offering an associate degree in golf management. The Academy focuses on academic values as well as excellence in golf proficiency. With the knowledge the graduates receive, they will have the education required to manage, or to assist in the management of, all of golf’s multifaceted operations. With more than 5,000 graduates over the past 30 years, SDGA has a worldwide reputation as the leading golf employee resource for the golf industry. An exclusive website for graduates lists over 1,000 golf jobs on a daily basis, assisting alumni with job placement throughout their career.
The Academy’s instructional program and student services take place in a customized learning environment. The facilities include classrooms, computer labs, club repair, library, lounge, student and placement service areas as well as administration offices. Golf instruction, practice, and play are conducted at local driving ranges and at golf courses conveniently situated to one of their four outstanding locations. SDGA has four different campuses to choose from including: San Diego, California; Orlando, Florida; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Phoenix, Arizona.
Hilton Golf Academy, Myrtle Beach Myrtle Beach, SC is the newest Hilton Golf Academy site, having launched in early 2006. This beach resort setting alongside Kingston Plantation will provide both golf and leisure activities at the highest standard.
